Dorset Wildlife Trust
Our relationship
Dorset Wildlife Trust manage natural landscapes from the Jurassic Coast to heaths, forests and wetlands, looking after wildlife and wild places. They manage over 40 nature reserves for wildlife and people in Dorset. Also working with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the county. Inspiring local communities and young people to care for wildlife where they live and influence decision.
Ouch have worked closely with Dorset Wildlife Trust for many years. For many of the business courses that we have delivered in-house, our team have worked with Steve to contextualise the training to ensure content that it is essential, effective, and relevant for the trust’s employees and volunteers.
“As the Head of HR at Dorset Wildlife Trust, with a key responsibility for staff learning & development, my ‘go to’ training organisation every time is Ouch L & D. I have complete faith in every session that is delivered by the team, safe in the knowledge that it is led by a trainer with firsthand experience in the subject, who brings reality and understanding to the session and will use exceptional training methods to ensure my staff get the very highest quality of training there is.
The entire Ouch team are hugely professional in their work, from the very first enquiry through to completion of any given course, everything is handled effectively and efficiently. I have every admiration for how the team gels and how they live by their own mantra of health and wellbeing, even to the point of undertaking the daily midday mile walks – whatever the weather!”
